Shorba

Shorba is a kind of soup, relished across Middle-East Asia, South and Central Asia, and North Africa, prepared by simmering meat in boiling water along with salt and flavored with aromatic curry spices and herbs. Shorba can be traced back to history of undivided Punjab during Mughal Empire. The Mughals introduced Shorba in Punjab as a remedy to cure illness and gain strength.

Tamater Orange Shorba​

A delectable soup made from tomatoes and orange with subtle use of herbs and spices.

Navratan Shorba

This Shorba is a blend of nine (our own Saskatchewan grown) lentils that are used to create a robust earthy soup.

Murg kali mirch Shorba

This clear flavourful saffron infused soup is made by slow cooking chicken drumsticks with very subtle use of herbs and spices.

Nawabi Shorba

This robust Shorba is made by simmering lamb trotters overnight to extract the entire aroma from the bones as well as the bone marrow.

Haak Mounj Shorba

Kholrabi and kale are unique to Kashmir in the Indian subcontinent. This Shorba is a one of a kind health enthusiasts dream come true.

Matka Specialties

The origins of Matka dishes have been traced to a village called Chiniot. Chiniot is located near Lahore in Punjab province of Pakistan.The more distinct element of these Matka recipes is its unique aroma that gets imbibed due to the clay pot cooking. There is a distinct earthy scent and a delicate texture.
Note: waiting time for these dishes is approximately 90 minutes.

Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Veg/Paneer & Chicken/Beef

We present the most sought after variation of biryani where each individual dish is dum cooked instead of an entire batch. Dum means sealed with a flour veil and then slow cooked, creating an extremely flavourful experience.
